In 1981 the city of Niagara Falls, New York officials requested that Jimmie Raye produce a tribute song that would inspire the community to stand up. He collaborated with Willie Myles and a band by the name of "The Revelations." Jimmie Raye recorded the song "Stand Up America" in Buffalo, New York and mastered it in New York
City. The recording was released on the label WMJR.
